Recognizing Mothers on Mother’s Day is Rewarding

mothers day

When we think of doing something for our mothers, nothing seems enough. It’s an emotion that can’t be expressed in words. This is the strongest bond of our lives that we take so much for granted. Rarely do we realize that it is this strong base that keeps us grounded, going and maybe take those leaps that sore us high in life. On Mother’s Day a salute to the undying spirit called motherhood and a small list that will help you lighten your mothers up on this day. What more you can even claim some cool tax exemptions for some of these things you do.

To do list for Mother’s Day

  1. Pamper them –

Book a salon visit for them and help them pamper themselves to all those beauty treatments. Mothers usually forget to take care of themselves being caretakers for the entire family. They will surely enjoy this one.

  2. Book a holiday –

Book a holiday just for you and her. Make sure you make it memorable by arranging for small things that she loves. This may be flowers, books, food or even music. A break from the excessively busy routine especially for working mothers is a great escapade. Don’t forget to save the tickets that will help you claim LTA deduction from your salary.

  3. Health first –

Women are susceptible to many health issues as they age because of their genetic make-up. Your mother also might just be due for a much needed health check or even that much needed surgery or treatment. So don’t delay, just book that appointment today. Medical expenses on family too can be claimed as deductions under various sections to save taxes.

  4. Fitness –

Mother’s need to do a lot and hence they need to be absolutely fit. How about getting a gym membership for some yoga or even Zumba to perk them up and make them fit.

  5. Make a promise of time –

Make a promise to her that you will make time for her whenever you can. Today’s jobs demand a lot from us and take us away from family. On this mother’s day make that promise to her and more importantly to yourself that you would make time for something that really matters the most.

So what are you waiting for? Just get started and make sure you make the most of this Mother’s Day.
